📋 Description

• Assist with configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrades of Fortinet, Cisco, and Palo Alto next-generation firewalls • Support customer-facing networks and assist senior engineers with network expansion, hardware refreshes, and connectivity solutions • Implement system and network configurations in compliance with corporate security policies and best practices • Support SD-WAN, MPLS, wired and wireless Layer 2/Layer 3 connectivity, firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers • Manage the lifecycle of Cradlepoint wireless edge devices through Ericsson NetCloud Manager, including onboarding, provisioning, configuration groups, firmware upgrades, and licensing tracking • Provide break/fix and change-management support for Cradlepoint deployments, including LTE/5G troubleshooting, RMAs, and configuration changes • Provide multilayer technical support to customers through the Network Operations Center • Review and resolve potentially service-impacting anomalies, escalating when necessary • Own complex customer issues through resolution and escalate to senior engineering resources • Liaise with customers, vendors, and third-party providers to troubleshoot issues • Track issues accurately in the ticketing system and provide customers with timely progress and resolution updates • Obtain and maintain technical certifications • Handle company data in accordance with data-handling agreements, procedures, and policies • Complete annual compliance training and policy acknowledgements • Perform additional duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or University degree in a related field, or equivalent 5+ years of related work experience • Hands-on network troubleshooting using OSI model knowledge, debug commands, packet captures, routing analysis, and path analysis • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco ASA/Firepower and Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center • Experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and Fortinet access points and switches • Experience with Cisco routers and switches; Cisco Nexus exposure preferred • Familiarity with Juniper EX/QFX switches, routers, and SRX firewalls • Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama • Experience troubleshooting SD-WAN, including FortiGate SD-WAN implementations • Experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Cradlepoint routers and wireless WAN solutions through Ericsson NetCloud Manager, including LTE/5G connectivity • Working knowledge of BGP and OSPF with hands-on troubleshooting; IS-IS exposure is a plus • Load balancer familiarity is a plus; F5 LTM/GTM experience preferred • VMware NSX-V and NSX-T exposure is a plus • Working knowledge of MPLS concepts and troubleshooting • Strong Layer 2 and Layer 3 troubleshooting experience • AWS networking exposure, including VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect, Security Groups, and NACLs, is a plus • Cloudflare services exposure, including DNS, CDN, WAF, DDoS protection, Zero Trust/Access, and Tunnel, is a plus • Strong customer service skills and ability to explain technical issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ownership of incidents through resolution in a 24/7 operations environment • Ability to collaborate across shifts and time zones and share knowledge with peers • Learning agility and adaptability to acquire new network technologies • Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, or Cradlepoint certifications preferred but not required • Must be legally eligible to work in the assigned country without visa sponsorship • Ability to work extended periods using a computer, keyboard, mouse, office software, and communication tools • Ability to participate in frequent virtual meetings and communicate clearly in writing and verbally • Availability for occasional evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays to support 24/7 operations
