📋 Description

• Assist with configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrades of Fortinet, Cisco, and Palo Alto next-generation firewalls • Support customer-facing networks and assist senior engineers with network expansion, hardware refresh, and connectivity solution efforts • Implement system and network configurations in compliance with corporate security policies and best practices • Support SD-WAN, MPLS, Layer 2 and Layer 3 wired and wireless connectivity, firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers • Manage the lifecycle of Cradlepoint wireless edge devices through Ericsson NetCloud Manager, including onboarding, provisioning, configuration groups, firmware upgrades, and licensing tracking • Provide break/fix and change-management support for Cradlepoint deployments, including LTE/5G WAN troubleshooting, carrier issues, RMAs, and configuration changes • Provide multi-layered technical support to customers through Network Operations Center services • Review and resolve potentially service-impacting anomalies and escalate when necessary • Own complex customer issues through resolution while escalating to senior engineering resources • Liaise with customers, vendors, and third-party providers to troubleshoot issues • Track issues accurately in the ticketing system and provide timely customer updates • Obtain and maintain technical certifications • Follow company ethics, values, data-handling procedures, privacy practices, compliance training, and policies • Perform additional duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or University degree in a related field, or equivalent 5+ years of related work experience • Solid understanding of the OSI model and hands-on troubleshooting using debug commands, packet captures, and routing/path analysis • Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting experience with Cisco ASA/Firepower, Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center, Fortinet FortiGate, Fortinet Access Points, and Fortinet Switches • Experience with Cisco routers and switches; Cisco Nexus exposure preferred • Familiarity with Juniper EX/QFX switches, routers, and SRX firewalls • Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama • Experience supporting and troubleshooting SD-WAN, including FortiGate SD-WAN implementations • Experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Cradlepoint routers and wireless WAN solutions through Ericsson NetCloud Manager, including LTE/5G troubleshooting • Working knowledge of BGP and OSPF with hands-on troubleshooting; IS-IS exposure is a plus • Familiarity with load balancers; F5 LTM/GTM experience preferred • VMware NSX-V and NSX-T exposure is a plus • Working knowledge of MPLS concepts and troubleshooting • Strong Layer 2 and Layer 3 troubleshooting experience • AWS networking services exposure is a plus, including VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect, Security Groups, and NACLs • Cloudflare services exposure is a plus, including DNS, CDN, WAF, DDoS protection, Zero Trust/Access, and Tunnel • Strong customer service skills and ability to explain technical issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ownership of incidents through resolution in a 24/7 operations environment • Ability to collaborate across shifts and time zones and share knowledge with peers • Learning agility and adaptability to acquire new network technologies • Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, or Cradlepoint certifications preferred but not required • Must be legally eligible to work in the assigned country without visa sponsorship • Ability to work extended periods using a computer, keyboard, mouse, office software, and communication tools • Ability to participate in frequent virtual meetings and communicate clearly in writing and verbally • Ability to work occasional evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays for 24/7 operations support
