📋 Description

• Develop, test, debug, deliver, and maintain production software systems for new and existing product features • Advance the filling and saving experience of 1Password’s password manager and unified sign-in capabilities • Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, cross-functional teams, stakeholders, teammates, and the open-source community • Communicate technical requirements and solve technical problems in scalable, realistic ways • Mentor junior and new team members through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and pair programming • Participate in planning by identifying, breaking down, estimating, and planning major tasks • Write comprehensive tests throughout the development cycle • Review code to maintain quality, share knowledge, and support constructive feedback • Generate and review documentation on code processes • Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and development best practices • Participate in rotational on-call work to provide uninterrupted support and resolve emergencies

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software development • Proficiency in TypeScript and React • Experience with software development best practices and coding standards • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and propose effective solutions • Experience collaborating with teams and communicating technical concepts to non-technical cross-functional partners • Passion for testing methodologies and debugging techniques • Must live in and be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada • No work authorization, relocation assistance, or visa sponsorship/transferring offered • Willingness to participate in rotational on-call work • Successful applicants must complete a background check • Bonus: experience building browser extensions for Chromium, Firefox, and/or Safari • Bonus: experience with Rust, Go, or related languages • Bonus: experience with Web APIs such as DOM features, Navigation API, and IndexedDB API
