📋 Description

• Lead development of network strategy for partners, allies, and local groups tailored to context and campaign priorities • Establish systems to track, evaluate, and report on network health, volunteer engagement, and leadership development • Bring global and regional insight into global mobilisation planning • Build and maintain strategic relationships across the climate movement ecosystem and institutions • Line-manage two Regional Network Coordinators • Lead work and relationships with existing and new 350 affiliates • Build cross-regional collaboration and share lessons, tactics, and political insight • Align regional network work with 350.org’s global strategy, campaign priorities, and organisational standards • Develop mechanisms for sharing learnings, best practices, and innovations • Ensure effective communication among local groups, Network Coordinators, national organisers, and the global team • Oversee cross-country network mobilisation projects • Embed JEDI principles into network organising, training, and campaigning • Serve as budget holder for the Partnerships and Networks Team • Contribute to fundraising and donor engagement • Represent 350.org in internal and external spaces • Contribute to 350.org’s mission as organisational needs require

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years’ senior-level experience in organising or movement-building, ideally in the climate sector • At least 3 years’ experience directly managing people • Substantial lived and work experience in the majority world • Experience building, strengthening, and scaling volunteer-led or grassroots networks in the majority world / Global South • Knowledge and experience of the global climate movement • Ability to navigate sensitive relationships and topics where views may diverge • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills • Ability to manage conflict and drive internal change through persuasion, learning, dialogue, and accountability practices • Substantial experience managing and coaching staff remotely from diverse backgrounds • Demonstrated ability to design and implement organising and campaigning strategies that deliver measurable impact • Good networking and coalition-building skills • Ability to cultivate and establish partnerships with donors, external partners, media, and other stakeholders • Knowledge and experience applying JEDI principles in campaigning and organising contexts • Basic understanding of digital organising and experience using data to inform strategy • Excellent project management, facilitation, communication, and intercultural skills • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote, international team • Comfort working in a fast-paced and resource-constrained environment • Fluency in English • Legal authorization to work for any employer in the country of residence • No employment visa sponsorship available
