📋 Description

• Lead a collaborative effort supporting multiple clients’ Azure Data platform, Databricks, and/or Fabric/Power BI environments • Respond to escalations and analyze and resolve incidents • Manage, advise, and delegate all aspects of assigned clients’ in-scope services, including alerting and monitoring, platform governance, ETL, data warehousing, reporting, and AI/ML operations • Architect, implement, monitor, and support enhancements to clients’ Microsoft Azure and/or Fabric Data & AI tool stacks • Advise customers on licensing for Microsoft data and AI solutions • Support data ingestion, metadata-driven ETL architectures, medallion data lake architectures, star-schema data models, enterprise data warehousing, business intelligence, and AI/ML applications • Research and develop new and custom solutions and refine data engineering and analytics skills • Identify issues, troubleshoot promptly, and follow up within contracted SLAs • Communicate ticket status and handle escalations from junior team members • Attend recurring client meetings and serve as lead engineer for technical questions and support tickets • Explain technical issues and solutions to clients in business terms aligned with strategic outcomes • Configure, administer, tune, and develop client data environments using governance, security, and well-architected best practices • Create and maintain documentation for client environments • Promote best practices for clients and internally • Mentor and coach onshore and offshore engineers and coordinate technical work sessions • Collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to align solutions with client needs and identify engagement growth opportunities • Advise clients on their technical journey while mentoring and supporting engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent certification • Experience working in a support role and understanding standard support processes (i.e. ITIL) • 5+ years architecting, implementing, and supporting solutions on the Microsoft Azure and Fabric tool stacks for Data & AI (ADF, SQL DW, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Power BI) • Strong proficiency in Enterprise Data Warehousing, Semantic Models, Data Lake Architecture, and Metadata-driven ETL processes is required • Experience with DevOps/DataOps, including git-based source control and automated deployment pipelines, is required • Experience implementing and/or supporting Agentic AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, and/or LLM use cases on the Microsoft tool stack for Data & AI is preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills • A passion for problem solving and learning new technologies • Client relationship skills and experience managing vendors • Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment • Strong desire for personal development and continuous technical learning • Ability to work remotely with a team of data analytics professionals • Applicants must be able to work in the United States; 3Cloud cannot sponsor applicants for work visas
