📋 Description

• Oversee coding, testing, and debugging of programs and preparation of test data • Oversee development and preparation of flowcharts and diagrams • Prepare production-run instructions and coordinate end-user instructions or manuals • Lead research and analysis for project proposals, software and systems modifications, and new projects • Analyze computer applications, equipment requirements, capabilities, and database schemas • Write and run SQL code and deploy packages and triggers • Review and revise programs to improve operating efficiency or adapt new procedures • Analyze logs, system messages, thread connectivity, memory utilization, disk I/O, and disk space to troubleshoot application issues • Confer with staff to schedule work and coordinate programming projects • Prepare analyses, plans, diagrams, and verification procedures for computer applications • Develop programming standards, procedures, interfaces, and reports • Develop and implement specialized programs to enhance systems software • Recommend, coordinate, and implement application and system performance improvements • Create and maintain backup and restore processes for business continuity • Coordinate, assign, and track the work of others • Attend work regularly and observe approved work hours • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 15 years of Java experience required • 10 years of SQL database experience required • 8 years of sustaining and development experience supporting large applications in a team environment required • 5 years of Linux experience required • 8 years of Atlassian tool suite experience, especially JIRA, preferred • 8 years of Agile methodology experience preferred • 2 years of experience with Client applications and Client Safety environment preferred • 2 years of experience transitioning applications from legacy mainframe environments to Java/SQL environments preferred
