• Process specialized cardiac cases for the Cardiac Center of Excellence • Manipulate CT and MRI medical images using sophisticated 3D software and specialized thin client/server equipment • Produce high-quality 3D reconstructions and post-process medical images independently • Follow established protocols to create diagnostic images for analysis and diagnosis • Ensure image quality meets required standards • Incorporate quality feedback into patient case processing • Maintain confidentiality of patient information, HIPAA-protected information, and company trade secrets/projects • Maintain accurate and complete records, including imaging data and patient history • Enter information into designated systems according to procedures • Adhere to operational workflow and assigned queues • Provide accurate 3D views aligned with protocol series • Respond promptly via messaging platforms while on shift and provide status updates for breaks and lunches • Use proprietary 3D software, Microsoft Office 365, HR software, and online resources • Collaborate professionally with technologists, doctors, surgeons, and other clinicians • Maintain and increase skills through ARRT license maintenance and continuing education • Complete training related to new technology, protocols, and software updates • Improve processing quality and speed while meeting patient case timing expectations • Perform other duties as assigned
• Required associate degree in radiologic technology or preferred bachelor’s degree in a health science or related field of study • Required ARRT RT (R) license • Required knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, gross pathology, and medical terminology • Preferred CT and MR licenses • Preferred experience in 3D and multi-planar reformatting • Desirable software experience with Tera Recon, Vitrea, VISAGE, and/or other 3D software • Required ability to work non-traditional hours and adhere to the assigned schedule • Ability to quickly master and retain new information and concepts • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Experience paying attention to highly detailed information • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks • Cath Lab experience preferred • Prolonged computer-based work analyzing 2D and 3D images • Ability to maintain visual attention and concentration under time pressures • Ability to sit for extended periods, approximately 8 hours • Hand-eye coordination and ability to use a mouse and keyboard • Mental and visual acuity to operate complex computer equipment • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
