📋 Description

• Build flagship demos, sample apps, cookbooks and reference architectures showing Exa on real problems • Design and deliver workshops, hands-on labs and technical webinars for prospects, customers and developer communities • Create video tutorials, self-paced courses and recorded labs for customers, developers and new Field Engineers • Represent Exa at conferences, meetups, hackathons, booth demonstrations and partner events • Start and run meetups and user groups in key cities and grow a developer community • Serve as the subject-matter expert on Exa products, search quality, evaluations and agent use cases • Join key deals and customer escalations when Solutions Architects and Forward Deployed Engineers need deeper expertise • Turn product launches into demos, talk tracks and competitive positioning • Partner with Marketing on technical content, blog posts and pipeline-generating events • Communicate developer feedback, blockers and competitor activity to Product • Travel to events, customers and Exa's San Francisco headquarters

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of hands-on programming experience • Ability to build polished demos and sample applications from scratch quickly • 4+ years in a technical customer-facing role (solutions architect, sales engineer, developer advocate or similar) • Experience ideally at an AI-native, API or developer-first company • Track record of teaching and presenting to technical audiences through talks, workshops, webinars, video tutorials or community events • Strong communication skills for technical and executive audiences • Ability to set priorities independently without a segment or quota • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including internationally • Experience speaking at developer conferences, running meetups or building technical communities (preferred) • Experience with LLMs, RAG or agents and knowledge of retrieval and search quality (preferred) • Public body of work such as open-source projects, technical blog posts, talks or videos (preferred) • Ability to work in the United States; international visa sponsorship is available
