📋 Description
• Process biweekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees using ADP Workforce Now with accuracy and compliance. • Audit pay records, reconcile totals by department, location, and country; apply pay policies correctly (vacation, LOA, disability, government regulations). • Prepare payroll journal entries, complete month-end and year-end reconciliations, and coordinate third-party payroll system upgrades. • Serve as primary payroll contact for employees and vendors; resolve discrepancies and respond to audit requests. • Ensure compliance with U.S. federal/state and Canadian federal/provincial regulations; administer 401(k) and RRSP contributions and benefits. • Document payroll processes, train staff, and back up specialized payroll functions as needed.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years payroll experience with the U.S. and Canada. • Expert in ADP Workforce Now. • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, benefits, reconciliations, and year-end processes. • Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to advise senior partners on complex matters. • Payroll certifications (PCP, CPM, FPC, CPP) or an accounting/finance background required.
