📋 Description

• Partner directly with customers and internal teams to understand problems, explore solutions, and define requirements and acceptance criteria • Translate business needs into practical technical approaches, explaining options, tradeoffs, and limitations • Design, implement, test, and maintain software with attention to correctness, usability, security, performance, and maintainability • Collaborate with QA and product teams to identify edge cases, resolve ambiguity, and build quality into development • Communicate progress, risks, and scope changes early • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback • Document decisions to support system understanding and maintenance • Use AI for design exploration, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation • Own changes through release and follow-up, investigate issues, and use customer feedback to improve the product

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and respectfully • Ability and desire to work directly with customers and colleagues to uncover needs, ask clarifying questions, and turn ambiguity into actionable requirements • Proficiency in a modern programming language • Experience building and maintaining applications • Strong commitment to quality through thoughtful design, appropriate testing, code review, and attention to customer experience • Sound problem-solving skills • Ability to balance immediate needs with long-term maintainability • Practical experience getting useful results from AI tools, including breaking down problems, supplying context, iterating, and independently verifying generated work • Accountability for software delivered, including code developed with AI assistance • Good judgment when handling customer and company information • Must live and be a full-time resident in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Ohio, or Florida
