📋 Description

• Conduct investigations and research using corporate reports and exception-based reporting • Develop professional, comprehensive cases and research packages revealing fraud or misreporting • Complete cases and ensure appropriate recoveries, documentation, and follow-up • Perform tasks supporting the Asset Protection Department’s Four Pillar Strategy: Revenue and Profit Assurance, Shortage Control, Incident-Investigation Management, and the Safety Program • Advise, train, and counsel field operators on shortage control, theft, and asset protection • Establish and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and represent 7-Eleven to local municipalities • Assist law enforcement and 7-Eleven’s third-party insurance administrator in securing evidence and statements • Respond immediately with support and consultation to field operations after critical incidents of crime or disaster

🎯 Requirements

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience • 5 years retail operations-related and multi-unit experience required • Thorough understanding of retail Accounting and Financial Management • Analytics, reporting management experience is required • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to train and communicate one-on-one or to a large audience • Ability to learn and excel using an exception Based Reporting Tool • Ability to conduct professional investigative interviews • 60–70% travel within the assigned coverage area • No assigned office
