📋 Description

• Manage multiple teams on a client project, usually an entire prime contract • Ensure the contract succeeds in partnership with A1M leadership • Serve as the decisionmaker and escalation point for the contract, team, and client • Ensure team members have what they need to complete their work • Delegate work and ensure delegated work is completed well • Provide team oversight and ensure quality deliverables • Communicate risks and concerns to A1M leadership and request support • Create connections across practices and disciplines • Provide product management direction and vision for contract project teams • Create vision and guidance for expanding A1M’s product practice • Mentor and train internal A1M team members in product management • Convene cross-functional teams to develop products and solutions • Coach and guide teams using user-centered and agile methodologies • Differentiate client requirements from requests to deliver effective product or program strategy • Deliver value within target timelines while balancing competing priorities • Break projects into actionable chunks • Build cooperative relationships and coalitions with empathy, creativity, situational awareness, and tact • Work with government components in a leadership role and resolve conflicting stakeholder priorities • Communicate contract status, results, and needs to company leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, design, computer science, cognitive science, human-computer interaction (HCI), human factors, or a related field • 10+ years of full-time related professional experience • Prior experience working in local, state, or federal government • Familiarity with federal government delivery concerns such as ATO, FedRAMP, and PIAs • Critical thinking about product development processes • Experience delivering projects from strategy through execution • Experience creating product roadmaps, OKRs, and user stories • Experience presenting and gathering buy-in on product judgment • Experience coordinating work in distributed, agile teams • High-level editing and writing, and presenting with limited supervision • Familiarity with modern web-based application development processes and tools • Must work from the United States, including all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and US territories • Must have been a resident in the United States for 3 of the past 5 years • Cannot reside in New York state • Must already have legal authorization to work in the US and not require ongoing visa sponsorship • Must be a permanent US resident • Must complete a Public Trust background investigation, including SF85 or SF85P as applicable, and fingerprinting • Flexibility to work hours aligned primarily with Eastern Standard Time (EST) when residing outside EST • Active participation in client virtual meetings, including being on camera • Nice, but not necessary: personal experience with government health and human services programs; knowledge of Medicare, ACA, MACRA, Medicaid, or CHIP; experience leading cross-functional agile coaching teams; familiarity with SAFe
