📋 Description

• Resolve all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity for personal lines and commercial claims • Manage claims efficiently and effectively to appropriate resolution with minimal supervision • Handle liability injury claims, including coverage, liability and damage concerns • Handle Medical Payment, PIP, Uninsured Motorists, Under-insured Motorists and ADB claims • Assist with first notice of loss calls and participate in the department phone queue as needed • Make coverage determinations and conduct complex investigative work • Advise customers on appropriate courses of action related to coverage issues • Make liability determinations based on gathered evidence • Evaluate potential subrogation and initiate initial subrogation notices • Develop negotiation strategies with insureds, claimants and representatives • Communicate pertinent case facts to supervisors, managers or committees • Participate in employee resource groups and volunteering • Travel as needed for divisional, team and other in-person meetings • Fulfill business needs, including investing extra time and helping other teams

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of Casualty claims experience OR a minimum of 2 years of claims experience including 1+ year of Commercial claims experience • High School / GED or a minimum of 3 years experience in a Casualty claims role within P&C insurance industry • Required to acquire and/or maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses (state-specific) within the first 90 days of employment and/or job transfer • Prior experience with Commercial policies • BA/BS in business, insurance or related area preferred as a qualification that would make the employer excited • Flexibility to work any shift during operating hours of 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. in your time zone, including evenings and/or weekends • Capability to complete training and perform the job in a remote setting • Outstanding interpersonal and strong computer navigation abilities • Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously • Excellent communication skills with people from an array of backgrounds • Must have authorization to work indefinitely in the United States • Mobilitas does not provide visa sponsorship; applicants must not require immigration support
