📋 Description

• Manage complex departmental technology and corporate projects from planning through implementation and support • Define project requirements, budgets, business cases, and success measures • Coordinate resources, vendors, and cross-functional initiatives • Ensure compliance with standards and architecture • Monitor schedules, budgets, risks, and outcomes • Mentor project teams and leaders on project management practices, performance improvement, documentation, and quality standards • Staff, coordinate, and lead large technology and/or business project teams • Evaluate complex systems and/or business processes and interdependencies • Evaluate state-of-the-art hardware and software products • Develop and negotiate vendor contracts • Prepare business plans, value propositions/charters, proposals, and long-range strategic initiatives/plans • Perform high-level technology and/or management consulting activities • Conduct cost/benefit analysis • Lead and direct projects in a matrix organization • Motivate team members and oversee concurrent activities • Communicate complex technical or sensitive topics through reports, proposals, and presentations • Support and translate company and department goals into ongoing work efforts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration and a minimum of three years of project leadership/management experience; or • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation and a minimum of three years of project leadership/management experience; or • Applicable professional certification or technology designation and a minimum of three years of project management experience • Project planning and management methods, tools, and techniques • Experience staffing, coordinating, and leading large technology and/or business project teams • Experience evaluating complex systems and/or business processes and their interdependencies • Experience evaluating hardware and software products • Experience with total quality processes and quality problem-solving tools • Experience developing and negotiating vendor contracts • Experience developing business plans, value propositions/charters, and proposals for long-range strategic initiatives/plans • Experience performing high-level technology and/or management consulting activities • Experience with cost/benefit analysis • Excellent presentation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills at middle/senior management level • Ability to support and translate company and department goals into ongoing work efforts • Ability to lead and direct projects in a matrix organization • Ability to motivate team members and achieve high-quality results • Ability to oversee concurrent activities • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively about complex technical or sensitive topics • Preferred technical experience with mainframe, distributed systems, and/or web-based design, development, and implementation • Knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, enterprise-wide technology planning, systems operation practices, system development methodologies, and structured systems development tools/products • Knowledge of user requirements development, testing, and systems analysis • Managerial experience staffing professional and administrative staff and interpreting/administering personnel policies • Regular and reliable attendance is essential • Employment is subject to background and drug screening
