• Manage territory sales in New York and New Jersey, based in New York City • Call on hospitals, clinics and private medical practices • Travel throughout the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers • Establish and maintain goodwill through effective customer interface and account management • Promote a diverse medical imaging product line • Make product presentations, solicit orders, close sales and create revenue • Identify prospective customers and build relationships • Promote product sales and beneficial contracts • Maintain established customers and develop new accounts • Call on physicians and departments including purchasing, materials management, radiology, cardiac cath lab and OR • Consult with Sales Managers, Product Managers and Inside Sales personnel on product applications and solutions • Maintain accurate, up-to-date account information for contacts and customers • Assist in resolving customer problems and ensure excellent customer satisfaction • Attend trade shows as required
• Valid Driver's License • Residency within forty miles of the advertised location • 3 Years Prior Medical Imaging (RT(R)) or Medical Equipment/Device Sales experience • Willing to travel daily, sometimes overnight • Stable work record demonstrated by longevity with a previous employer (2 years or longer) • Must pass criminal background check • Must pass 10 panel drug screen • Must satisfy all industry vendor credentialing requirements in advance of start date • Strong interpersonal, networking and communication skills • Proven success with previous employers • Effective sales and account management skills • Professional in appearance • Effective presentation skills and ability to confidently deliver information • Ability to overcome obstacles and customer objections • Experience selling in a competitive environment • Self-starter who takes initiative
