📋 Description

• Support accounts receivable activities such as billing and collections for the ELSE Division • Review contracts and project information to ensure accurate billing, invoicing, and compliance with client requirements • Prepare and process invoices, change orders, and billing-related transactions according to contractual terms and deadlines • Analyze billing data, project ledgers, and accounts receivable records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance • Monitor customer payments, reconcile accounts, and collaborate on collections activities to reduce outstanding balances and resolve discrepancies • Research account issues and provide timely reporting and account summaries to support customer dispute resolution • Perform quality checks and financial analyses to identify trends, resolve variances, and maintain financial data integrity • Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation for billing, collections, and accounts receivable activities • Support internal and external audits by ensuring financial records and documentation are complete, accurate, and accessible • Manage customer billing portal activities, including invoice submissions and account information maintenance • Partner with internal stakeholders, project teams, and customers to ensure effective communication and a positive customer experience • Report to the Financial Analyst

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • 1+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related financial operations role • Experience reviewing contracts, interpreting billing requirements, and preparing customer invoices • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word • Experience working with ERP systems and finance-related software • Familiarity with customer invoicing portals and electronic billing processes • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a high attention to detail • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and interact professionally with customers • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs
