📋 Description

• Lead the U.S. Application Engineering organization supporting Commercial Operations and Sales teams • Lead and develop a high-performing Application Engineering team by setting performance expectations, coaching employees, closing technical skill gaps, and implementing development plans • Provide technical leadership and customer solution support across the Electrification Services portfolio • Engage strategically with customers, conduct site assessments, develop solutions, and prioritize resources • Ensure high-quality Statements of Work and Job Cost Estimates • Improve inquiry-to-order processes, proposal quality, and proposal cycle times • Standardize and continuously improve engineering processes and capabilities through KPI management, solution and estimating libraries, digital tools, automation, and process improvements • Develop comprehensive technical training programs • Collaborate with Proposal Management, Business Development, Operations, and other ABB engineering teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required and 12+ years relevant work experience • Candidates with Electrical Engineering degree will be preferred • Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time within US • Minimum of 7 years of experience in application engineering or field engineering in power delivery products and systems • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with customers in oil & gas, metals, mining, paper, power generation, data center, commercial buildings or similar business segments • Experience leading geographically dispersed technical teams strongly preferred • Experience with proposal development, statement of work creation, job costing, and commercial operations processes • Background in field service, power systems engineering, or industrial electrical services • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
