📋 Description

• Provide technical sales execution to the Channel team, channel partners, technical support, product engineering, R&D, and end customers • Apply ABB Low Voltage drive and PLC/HMI product knowledge to product application and general LV drive and motor application issues • Design and recommend tailored solutions based on portfolio and capability knowledge • Contribute to specifications by negotiating deviations and agreeing on win-win solutions • Identify and communicate applicability of new or emerging functional solutions • Advise others on delivery of high-quality solutions using broad and deep professional expertise • Strengthen existing customer relationships and develop relationships with new customers • Follow up on customer complaints according to a defined process • Identify and meet customer needs and request feedback • Use basic sales techniques, including communication, active listening, and presentation • Support customer presentations and demonstrations as the product expert • Analyze drive, PLC/HMI, and motor application problems and initiate effective solutions • Coordinate activities with related groups to achieve objectives and ensure customer satisfaction • Support the Motion Drive Products division's channel and distribution sales partners in the assigned territory

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field and 4+ years of experience in the application of Low Voltage drives with basic knowledge of Compressors, Pump & Fan, Extruder, Crane, Hoists & Winches, Centrifuge, General Machinery and other applications OR Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related field and 6+ years of experience in the application of Low Voltage drives with basic knowledge of Compressors, Pump & Fan, Extruder, Crane, Hoists & Winches, Centrifuge, General Machinery and other applications • Exceptional technical application and technical communication skills • Understanding of Serial and Ethernet communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, ProfiNet, etc.) • Programming experience in industrial PLCs (ABB, Rockwell, Siemens, Square D, or others) • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, vendors, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community • Valid driver’s license and passport with ability to travel > 50% of the time to customer and end user sites • Must already possess work authorization permitting legal work for ABB in the United States
