📋 Description

• Provide engineering, sales, educational, and technical support for electrophysiology products • Respond to inquiries from physicians, healthcare professionals, patients, and field sales staff • Act as a clinical interface between the medical community and Abbott’s EP business • Build and sustain credible customer relationships and share product expertise • Provide regional EP procedural case coverage • Develop, lead, and facilitate EP product trainings and programs for healthcare professionals • Provide management with market feedback and input on next-generation products • Support EP Sales Representatives with sales support, training seminars, clinical studies and data collection, troubleshooting, and new product in-service training • Develop engineering, sales, and technical skills related to Arrhythmia Management strategy • Assist Training and Education with advanced seminars and educational materials • Assist Sales with advanced product demonstrations • Stay current on technical fields, regulatory requirements, company and competitor products, markets, objectives, and industry trends • Resolve problems and identify causes to prevent recurrence • Monitor performance and report status to the manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, related field, or equivalent healthcare experience required • Ability to become certified on EP products • Minimum of 6 months in a Clinical Specialist position • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, internal or external with an industry competitor • Achieves or exceeds expectations in most recent performance review • Average of 15+ cases per month for 6–12 consecutive months as primary mapper • Primary mapper on complex cases for 6+ months, including a minimum of 3 complex cases over the last 6 months • Ability to increase utilization of Abbott Advanced Mapping and Ablation Tools • Complete monthly sales activities at assigned accounts • Verification of satisfaction of vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination • Ability to travel 50% of the time
