📋 Description

• Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system • Guide, coach, and direct staff providing direct service and support to Abbott Diagnostics Division customers and other clients • Promote ADD products and image through superior customer service and support • Apply knowledge of diagnostic systems and products in customer environments • Ensure documentation, records, and data are properly collected and maintained • Operate within financial budget constraints and support budget development • Provide technical direction and ensure staff training on required applications • Recommend operational improvements based on industry trends and customer issues • Implement processes and procedures supporting business objectives • Track product complaints and reliability and recommend service improvements • Coach, mentor, and develop staff; complete performance reviews and development planning • Build, motivate, and assess an effective team • Make staffing decisions and administer reward and recognition programs • Interact with customers, field service/support personnel, and local sales staff • Negotiate with customers to resolve service issues and improve relationships • Coordinate support levels with service, support, and sales districts • Analyze departmental issues, performance data, trends, and business impact • Ensure regulatory compliance and timely staffing of qualified candidates • Provide input to budgeting and planning and identify project resource requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Must live in the Virginia area • Must be able to travel up to 50% • Must have a valid driver’s license • Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics • Bachelor's degree with 4–5 years’ customer support experience, preferably in the diagnostics industry or in a lab environment, or equivalent combination of education and work experience • Ability to operate within FDA and other regulatory agency requirements
