📋 Description

• Promote, manage, and grow Abbott Pediatric Nutritional products in hospital and office settings • Develop and support territory sales goals for Similac and PediaSure in hospitals and office service areas • Conduct hospital negotiations and contracting • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines and deliver information in a selling environment • Support new product launches • Understand hospital department hierarchies, including NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries, and Nursing units • Work effectively with Dietitians, Physicians, and Nurses • Manage administrative responsibilities and budgets • Function independently with initiative, independence, and autonomy • Pursue short- and long-term sales goals

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • 2+ years of healthcare sales experience combined with clinical experience (Registered Dietitians and Registered Nurses) • Stability and proven success in sales • Subject matter expertise and high business acumen • Knowledge of hospital settings, specifically within pediatrics, is a plus • Reside in Springfield or Peoria, IL • Local candidates only; position does not offer relocation • Ability to travel 15% of the time • Ability to drive a personal auto or company car or truck • Keyboard use for 50% or more of the workday
