• Provide advanced engineering, sales, educational, and technical support for complex field inquiries involving electrophysiology products • Act as a senior clinical interface between the medical community and Abbott’s EP business • Build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and share product expertise • Identify and report customer needs, product performance, and sales opportunities to sales representatives, directors, and management • Provide engineering, sales, education, and clinical support for complex field inquiries • Develop, lead, and facilitate EP product training programs for healthcare professionals • Provide insight and feedback to management on market feedback and next-generation product components • Provide regional EP procedural case coverage • Support EP Sales Representatives with sales support, regional training, clinical studies, troubleshooting, and new product in-service training • Mentor and provide leadership for less experienced Clinical Specialists • Assist Training and Education departments with advanced seminars and educational materials • Assist Sales with advanced product demonstrations • Remain current on clinical, regulatory, company, competitor, market, and industry developments • Resolve problems and identify causes to prevent recurrence • Monitor performance and report status to the manager
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required • Minimum of 1 year in a previous position • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, internal or external • Prior industry/competitive experience if external • Solely dedicated to electrophysiology support • IBHRE EP certified • Considered a top performer among peers • Ability to perform complex EP cases independently • Ability to mentor and train EP CS and CA CS roles on complex mapping cases • Ability to conduct complex customer education events independently to sell the full EP portfolio value proposition • Verification of satisfaction of vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination • Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time
