📋 Description

• Provide support to Abbott Core Laboratory customers and field personnel as the primary contact for the highest-complexity Core Lab instruments • Perform onsite instrument and assay integration and training • Troubleshoot and resolve instrument and reagent problems onsite or over the phone • Document information in the complaint handling system • Interact frequently with customers onsite and remotely • Participate in customer touchpoint teams for account management and customer satisfaction • Make reagent-utilization and product-replacement decisions affecting the US annual supply budget • Conduct customer entrance interviews to understand needs and verify expectations • Assist customers with regulatory and validation requirements • Customize onsite customer training • Manage integration processes to meet customer expectations and timelines • Conduct exit interviews, present integration results, and ensure customer satisfaction • Investigate problems, diagnose causes, eliminate alternatives, and provide solutions • Maintain technical competence on assigned instruments and job-related tools and processes • Follow TAS work processes for integrations, complaint documentation, time documentation, activity documentation, and TOR documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 3+ years of relevant work experience in a laboratory environment, field service, or a technical support call center • Ability to travel up to 90% • Must currently live in the San Francisco Bay area or Salt Lake City, UT area • Easy access to a major metropolitan airport • Valid driver’s license • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in medical technology/clinical laboratory science • Preferred: Lab certification (e.g., MLS, MLT, etc.) • Preferred: 5+ years of relevant work experience in a laboratory environment, field service, technical support call center, or working directly with Abbott Diagnostics products, assays, or instruments
