📋 Description

• Execute AbbVie brand strategy and tactics in the field • Manage assigned territory and targeted accounts • Build customer relationships and solve customer needs to maximize sales performance • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives • Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and perform post-call evaluations • Handle objections and concerns and secure calls to action during sales calls • Serve customer needs and build trusted customer relationships • Develop and execute call plans to optimize coverage and frequency for key customers • Build knowledge of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease, products, clinical topics, and sales • Share market intelligence with field, brand, and sales-management teams • Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with healthcare providers • Identify, develop, and maintain disease-state experts, speakers, and advocates • Collaborate with field team members, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand-plan stakeholders • Operate within AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and applicable laws and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience • At least five years of relevant equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, including three or more years preferred within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry • High school diploma/GED required when using experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree • Proven track record of success in selling • Solid presentation skills • Commercial pharmaceutical industry experience preferred • English language proficiency verbally and in writing • Must satisfy applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain credentials • Demonstrated in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge • Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment • Valid driver’s license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test • Must meet safe driving requirements • Ability to drive a personal auto, company car/truck, or powered material-handling equipment
