📋 Description

• Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives • Manage the assigned territory and targeted accounts • Build customer relationships and solve customer needs to maximize short- and long-term sales performance • Create pre-call plan objectives and conduct post-call evaluations • Handle objections, misunderstandings, and concerns, and gain calls to action on sales calls • Develop and execute call plans to achieve metrics and optimize coverage and frequency for key customers • Build knowledge of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease, products, clinical information, and sales expertise • Share market intelligence with in-field, brand, and sales management teams • Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with assigned health providers • Identify, develop, and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates • Operate within AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and applicable laws and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience • At least five years of relevant and equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree • Three or more years of experience within the pharmaceutical, health, or science industry preferred • High school diploma/GED required • In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge • Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities • Proven track record of success in selling • Solid presentation skills • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment • Commercial pharmaceutical industry experience preferred, such as physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing • English language proficiency verbally and in writing • Must satisfy applicable health care industry representative credentialing requirements and be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain credentials • Valid driver’s license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements • Ability to drive a personal auto or company car/truck or powered material-handling equipment
