📋 Description

• Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives • Manage the assigned territory and targeted accounts • Build strong customer relationships and solve customer needs • Create pre-call plan objectives and conduct post-call evaluations • Handle objections, misunderstandings, and concerns and gain calls to action to close sales calls • Serve customer needs and build trusted customer relationships • Develop and execute call plans to optimize coverage, frequency, access, and sales opportunities • Build knowledge of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease, products, clinical information, and sales practices • Share market intelligence with field, brand, and sales teams • Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers • Identify, develop, and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates • Operate within AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and applicable laws and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience required • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree: at least five years of experience, including three or more years within the pharmaceutical, health, or science industry preferred, and a high school diploma/GED required • Proven track record of leadership success • Solid presentation skills • Strong business acumen • Proficient use of business tools • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities • Ability to identify customer style/behavior and adapt selling approach quickly • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment • Pharmaceutical commercial industry experience preferred, such as physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing • In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge preferred • English language proficiency preferred for non-English-speaking countries • Must satisfy applicable health care industry representative credentialing requirements • Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain required HCIR credentials • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test • Must meet safe driving requirements • Valid driver’s license • Ability to drive a personal auto, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment
