📋 Description

• Define reference architecture and integration strategy for a unified data center management platform • Design robust connections between BMS, DCIM, CMMS, and adjacent systems including SCADA, IoT, and analytics • Establish standards for scalability, reliability, security, and 24/7 mission-critical performance • Lead architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and drive cross-functional alignment • Evaluate vendors and emerging technology, run proofs-of-concept, and balance build versus buy • Translate operational pain points such as energy efficiency, predictive maintenance, and incident response into scalable solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 8–10+ years of systems/software architecture experience • 5+ years in data center operations, critical infrastructure, or industrial OT environments • Demonstrated leadership of architecture for complex multi-system integrations • Experience mentoring senior engineers and influencing technical direction across teams • Hands-on production experience developing or integrating BMS, DCIM, and/or CMMS platforms or close analogs • Strong distributed systems and integration skills, including APIs, event-driven architectures, high-availability design, and time-series data • Deep knowledge of data center fundamentals: power, cooling, capacity planning, environmental monitoring, and operational workflows • Excellent communication skills bridging technical and operational stakeholders • Preferred: experience with Schneider EcoStruxure, Siemens, Nlyte, Modius, IBM Maximo, or similar platforms • Preferred: background in hyperscale/colocation operators or enterprise mission-critical facilities • Preferred: familiarity with IoT protocols, digital twins, or AI/ML for facilities optimization • Preferred: exposure to Node.js, Rust, Go, Python, and cloud-native patterns
