📋 Description

• Promote Acadia products to healthcare professionals in person and virtually, providing compliant clinical, disease-state, and reimbursement information • Develop and execute territory business plans using market data, customer insights, and quarterly action plans to meet or exceed sales objectives • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, advocacy organizations, and other healthcare stakeholders • Address customer questions, concerns, and objections using advanced dialogue and selling skills • Tailor approved sales aids, clinical reprints, and brand resources to customer needs • Partner with managed markets, operations, sales training, marketing, and other internal colleagues to deliver coordinated solutions • Advise on product pricing, reimbursement, and specialty distribution channels, liaising with customers and Acadia on access issues • Track and report sales activities, business expenses, and customer interactions • Represent Acadia at conferences, exhibits, trainings, and national, regional, and local meetings • Mentor and train new sales specialists and contribute to cross-functional projects and field strategic insights • Travel independently, including overnight and air travel as needed; travel may be up to 80%

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; life sciences emphasis preferred • Executive level requires a minimum of 12 years of healthcare sales experience, including at least 3 years in complex or account-based selling environments • Demonstrated advanced selling skills, leadership abilities, and business acumen • Proven success influencing diverse healthcare professional audiences across multiple care settings • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills • Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and deliver consistently high results • Deep understanding of neuroscience disease states, Acadia products, and local/regional market dynamics • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual engagement platforms such as Zoom and WebEx • Strong understanding of payer dynamics, including Part D and specialty pharmacy/hub distribution • Must reside within the territory or within 30 miles of its border • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; eligibility to drive a company vehicle • Ability to meet significant travel requirements, including driving, overnight stays, and air travel • Must comply with vaccination requirements for healthcare professional offices, long-term care facilities, and medical conferences • Ability to stand, walk, sit, handle or operate equipment, and occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds • Ability to travel independently overnight and work after hours as required by business needs • Depending on territory needs, must be within reasonable proximity to a major airport
