📋 Description

• Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor for the assigned teaching area • Deliver effective live lessons via web conference using research-based instructional practices • Meet student achievement, culture, and state-specific academic accountability goals • Set up courses in the Learning Management System • Monitor student progress in asynchronous courses and provide daily assignment feedback and grades • Track and maintain contact with each student • Collaborate with the Principal to create and deliver student progress reports • Review student-level data to adjust the instructional program • Differentiate instruction for all students • Use research-based practices in synchronous and asynchronous instruction • Use the online 21st-century curriculum and traditional instructional methods • Create a joyful, caring, and supportive classroom environment • Integrate culturally responsive teaching practices into lessons and interactions with students, parents, and colleagues • Implement school-wide culture expectations and norms • Communicate regularly with families about students’ academic and social-emotional growth • Incorporate 21st-century technology skills into classroom and team settings • Collaborate and communicate with colleagues • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Current state teaching license in the appropriate content area • Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards • At least two years’ teaching experience (preferred) • Comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment involving observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring • High-quality written and verbal communication skills • High proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Outlook • Ability to properly manage confidential information • Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks • Experience working in a multicultural setting (preferred) • Eligibility limited to residents of Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, North Dakota, Oregon, and West Virginia
