📋 Description

• Track ATO projects for the AFS IT Enterprise Security Engineering Team, including project trackers and daily status updates • Document strategies for ITESE and Compliance workflows • Implement and interpret ITESE work processes and link them to Compliance/ConMon processes • Support assessments of application controls, control-response documentation, and process improvements • Review control assessments for completeness and alignment with control objectives; escalate issues and follow up • Review application of AFS Enterprise Standards within ATO project control reviews and SIA reviews • Create new process documentation and update Standard Operating Procedures • Collaborate with ITESE leads and project stakeholders to review requirements and meet service objectives • Support ATO development and assess service requirements and ATO deliverables • Coordinate meetings with application stakeholder teams to gather ATO document responses • Attend department, tower, and other assigned meetings • Collaborate across the IT Enterprise Security Engineering Department and Security Architecture, Engineering, and Risk tower

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. Citizen required • 2–3 years of working experience in information security or relevant experience • Experience with NIST 800-171 Rev. 2 or NIST 800-53 • Knowledge of U.S. security requirements • Familiarity with policy, standard, procedure, and baseline structures • Ability to adapt to rapid changes in business needs, processes, and technologies • Bonus: 2+ years of experience in security architecture or relevant experience • Bonus: Experience maintaining and operating security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security • Bonus: Understanding of secure web application network protocols, including HTTP(S), TLS, and SFTP • Bonus: Experience with NIST SP 800-171, NIST 800-53, RMF, SOX, and DFARS • Bonus: Experience using Agile within project or architecture/engineering teams • Bonus: CC or CISA certification • Must have U.S. work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship requirement
