📋 Description

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the Nursing Services Department in alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational goals • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as URAC and ACHC accreditation standards • Develop, maintain, and regularly update nursing policies, procedures, and clinical standards • Oversee home health nursing services, including subcontracted providers • Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of nursing staff • Oversee nurse competency development, licensure maintenance, and continuing education • Manage nursing department budgets and expenses • Lead quality assurance, performance improvement, and corrective action initiatives • Collaborate with Medical Director and Operations leadership on admissions processes and active patient management • Review patient care plans and clinical records to ensure quality, safety, and compliance • Foster coordination between nursing services and other patient care teams • Maintain productive relationships with physicians and referral partners • Serve as a senior clinical escalation point for patient care concerns • Stay current on nursing trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in home and infusion care

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in home care or hospital nursing • Minimum of three (3) years of nursing leadership or management experience • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office tools • Willingness to travel up to 50% as required for meetings, training, or oversight • Strong clinical leadership experience in home health or infusion services • Commitment to patient safety, quality, and nurse development • Experience managing regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness • Strategic thinking paired with operational execution • Clear, professional communication with clinicians, administrators, and partners • Preferred: Master’s degree in Nursing or related field • Preferred: Specialty nursing certification • Preferred: Nurse License Compact eligibility • Preferred: Working knowledge of home health regulations and accreditation standards
