📋 Description

• Service inbound corporate and government contractor travel requests • Deliver extraordinary customer service to ALTOUR clients • Greet all clients with enthusiasm • Provide consultative service to travelers and travel arrangers throughout the booking process • Quote and book accurate domestic and international air, car, and hotel reservations • Complete reservations accurately and in a timely manner while following corporate travel policies • Follow Federal travel requirements, including the Fly America Act • Secure the lowest available air, car, and hotel rates at the time of booking • Utilize client and ALTOUR negotiated programs when applicable • Utilize GDS low-fare search capabilities • Maintain productivity goals measured by transactions per month • Maintain quality goals measured by minimal customer service issues • Maintain customer experience goals measured through call-monitoring performance • Work either 8 AM–5 PM or 9 AM–6 PM ET

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years’ travel selling experience • 5+ years’ customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry • Experience in international travel bookings and process • Experience with government contractor accounts preferred • Typing speed of at least 50 WPM • Exceptional/above & beyond, proactive customer service approach • Excellent travel industry knowledge • Mastery in Travelport+ GDS, GDS formats, short cuts, enhancements, pricing • Corporate travel experience required • Government/government contractor experience preferred • Experience handling multiple accounts • Exceptional written and oral communication skills • Ability to embrace change and adapt • Ability to take direction, offer suggestions, and ask for appropriate guidance • Demonstrated exceptional teamwork and peer support • Ability to provide constructive feedback to peers and leaders • Ability to handle difficult situations with minimal guidance • Ability to support peers in decision making and know when to escalate • Strong understanding of ALTOUR initiatives and consistent change management skills
