📋 Description

• Perform cost estimating, analysis, and control activities • Lead quality control reviews • Maintain relationships with project personnel, discipline group leaders, and engineers • Provide technical direction to assigned personnel when delegated • Lead project team members • Maintain project schedules and achieve project goals • Support the professional development of other staff • Assist in developing and implementing cost recording, reporting, and analysis standards, programs, and reports • Prepare cost data for projects, proposals, and contract negotiations • Assist with scope change management • Define scope requirements for disciplines or specialties and coordinate required data with Engineering and other sources • Develop and verify quantity takeoffs • Develop and apply unit rates for cost and job hours • Prepare specific budgets according to standards and procedures • Prepare and coordinate cost reports • Collect and classify cost engineering data • Perform data analysis and development • Perform other duties as directed by the Project Manager, Supervisor, or Manager • Exemplify, support, and uphold the Company’s mission and values

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field of study • 10+ years of relevant experience in a related industry • Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering discipline preferred • Certified Cost Professional certification from AACE International or similar certification required; may include CCP-AACE, CEP-AACE, or CPE-ASPE • Knowledge of capital cost and services cost • Knowledge of scope change management • Intermediate knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction systems, and startup work processes • Proficiency using multiple discipline-specific software applications • Skill in identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to cost problems • Knowledge of financial reporting systems and controller account codes • Understanding of Controller instructions impacting Project Controls, including Project Financial Status Reports and Earned Revenue Determination Data • Computer proficiency and knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Skilled in oral and written communication • Strong communication, leadership, and organization skills • Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods • Ability to walk and climb on construction sites • Ability to travel up to 25%
