📋 Description

• Lead analysis and discovery for complex business scenarios, customer pain points, and product requirements • Design new features and enhancements, including functional specifications, workflows, process flows, mockups or wireframes, and acceptance criteria • Assess business impact, compatibility, dependencies, data risks, and integration risks; negotiate scope and priorities • Decompose initiatives into technical user stories and development tasks, coordinate implementation, resolve ambiguity, and maintain traceability • Provide functional expertise across distribution workflows including sales, purchasing, warehousing, inventory, pricing, freight, tax, and financial processes • Analyze and document data flows and integration requirements with dispatch, delivery, inventory, tank monitoring, CRM, and other systems • Partner with developers, QA, testing engineers, technical writers, support, implementation teams, and external partners • Develop test plans and scenarios, perform acceptance testing, validate results, and verify defect corrections • Lead readiness for UAT, releases, deployments, demonstrations, training, and post-go-live support • Investigate escalated support issues, contribute to root-cause analysis, maintain documentation, and identify product and process improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered • 5+ years of experience in business or system analysis, ERP functional consulting, or product analysis • Experience owning complex or cross-functional initiatives and developing functional specifications and workflow diagrams • 4+ years of experience in distribution domains such as Supply Chain, Sales, Purchasing, Warehousing, Inventory Management, or E-commerce • Ability to lead the requirements lifecycle from discovery through design, development, testing, and release • Ability to translate business needs into technical user stories with acceptance criteria, process flows, and mockups or wireframes • Experience working directly with developers, quality teams, and business users • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, stakeholder-management, and English-language skills • Ability to work independently, manage multiple high-priority initiatives, navigate ambiguity, and provide functional guidance or peer review • Quality-focused mindset, curiosity, and ability to model user behavior and identify application flaws • Availability to work primarily in the Eastern Time Zone, with occasional flexibility • Experience with Acumatica or another modern cloud ERP platform is preferred • Understanding of fuel distribution, logistics, downstream energy operations, or related workflows is preferred • Experience with ERP integrations, APIs, or web services; REST or SOAP experience preferred • Working knowledge of SQL, JSON, or XML is beneficial • Familiarity with financial/accounting workflows, fuel pricing, freight management, excise tax, reporting, or multi-entity operations is preferred • Experience with Agile product development and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Moqups or similar is preferred
