📋 Description
• Process incoming and outbound paperwork and electronic communications through accurate manual data entry across several databases • Handle high volumes of internal and external inbound and outbound calls regarding new and existing enrollment files • Make outbound follow-up calls to update existing files and complete new enrollment files • Interact daily with program stakeholders by phone and electronically • Register potential and existing customers in multiple databases • Receive, research, sort, file, and retrieve confidential, time-sensitive forms and documents • Follow up with state individuals and families to help resolve issues • Manage, distribute, and track program-specific materials • Maintain a complex filing system • Analyze and resolve customer inquiries • Conduct thorough and accurate research • Follow contract, state, and Medicaid specifications • Identify opportunities for process improvements and improved working conditions • Occasionally work outside typical hours to meet high-volume demands • Perform other assigned work-related activities • Support Acumen’s compliant cybersecurity posture by following applicable policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
🎯 Requirements
• At least two years of experience in customer service • Ability to effectively handle heavy inbound and outbound call volume • Professional oral and written communication skills • Accuracy and ability to handle responsibility with limited supervision • High standard of integrity • Ability to work well with numbers • Ability to read and work accurately with formulas • Proficient with 10-key by touch • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, and follow-through • Ability to prioritize and successfully handle multiple demands • Ability to handle conflict and difficult customers • Patience and perseverance • Working knowledge of contract, state, and Medicaid specifications
