📋 Description

• Assist the Manager, Adherence Success, in monitoring and measuring departmental operational flow • Assign responsibilities to staff handling intake, medical-record processing and review, and inbound calls • Ensure medical necessity review and inbound-call performance meet target metrics • Oversee two to eight direct reports and manage day-to-day team activities • Train, coach, evaluate, and hold staff accountable for standards, goals, and performance expectations • Identify root causes and improve processes and systems • Monitor quality audits and provide continuous feedback • Develop employee and team goals aligned with organizational goals • Manage department budget and expenses • Prepare reports for departments and leadership • Develop and maintain team Standard Operating Procedures • Coordinate with other managers on payer billing compliance • Identify regional issue trends and communicate education needs • Perform monthly employee compliance audits • Report team status and task completion to product-line leaders • Provide timely coaching, evaluations, and performance goals • Respond to patient needs and maintain patient confidentiality under HIPAA • Complete compliance training and maintain compliance with AdaptHealth’s Compliance Program • Select and hire qualified staff, onboard employees, and provide comprehensive training • Establish annual departmental goals based on organizational strategy • Support organizational performance and retention goals

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma required • Associate degree from an accredited college preferred • Two (2) years relevant experience in health care administrative, financial, insurance customer services, claims, billing, home health and/or medical terminology training required • Experience managing the listed tasks in a Medicare certified HME or health care environment that routinely bills insurance • Leadership skills • Ability to co-manage in a multi-site environment • Independent thinker and decision maker • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication • Excellent customer service skills • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects • Technical aptitude to understand data flow through systems and system interaction • Ability to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended periods • Ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions due to extensive computer use • Ability to lift 30 pounds as needed • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers while demonstrating empathy, compassion, courtesy, and respect for privacy
