• Oversee the day-to-day revenue cycle activities of the team and ensure smooth department operations • Hold team members accountable for performance expectations and help maintain department standards • Assist with one-on-one and general staff meetings, training, remediation, onboarding, and feedback • Support leadership in overseeing designated domestic and offshore Revenue Cycle Management staff • Ensure insurance information is accurate and complete; resolve discrepancies and improve billing accuracy • Maintain knowledge of upstream and downstream processes and improve departmental quality and efficiency • Identify and remove process bottlenecks • Prepare reports and audit metrics on employee accuracy and productivity • Resolve escalated phone calls, insurance billing inquiries, account errors, and inaccuracies • Conduct team meetings on insurance guidelines, claim denials, and retraining • Maintain compliance with third-party, private insurance, and government reimbursement billing procedures • Develop knowledge of the company’s home medical equipment products and services • Maintain patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines • Select and hire qualified staff and establish department goals and objectives • Communicate expectations, plan and monitor results, coach, counsel, and discipline employees • Perform other related duties as assigned
• High School diploma required • Associate degree from an accredited college preferred • Two (2) years relevant experience in health care administrative, financial, insurance customer services, claims, billing, home health, and/or medical terminology training required • Relevant experience may include management of these tasks in a Medicare-certified HME or healthcare environment that routinely bills insurance • Strong ability to co-manage in a multi-site environment • Independent thinker and decision maker • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication • Excellent customer service skills • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects • Technical aptitude to understand data flow through systems and system interaction • Knowledge of insurance billing, reimbursement procedures, claim denials, HIPAA, and government regulations
• Compensation based on experience and geolocation: $60,000-$62,000 a year • Equal opportunity employment policy
