📋 Description

• Own and evolve the product roadmap for Observability and Compute/Network teams • Balance reliability and security risks, developer needs, capacity constraints, and cost with Foundation Engineering leads • Define and track outcomes across reliability, performance, developer experience, and cost • Drive secure, policy-compliant self-service instrumentation, dashboards, and compute/network provisioning • Partner with Information Security and Risk to translate security requirements into roadmap priorities • Gather feedback through incident retrospectives, on-call surveys, and direct engagement • Represent roadmaps to platform leadership, product stakeholders, and cross-functional partners • Monitor observability and compute/network infrastructure trends to inform build-vs-buy and roadmap decisions • Report to product leadership within Developer Platform and partner with engineering leadership for Observability and Compute/Network

🎯 Requirements

• Prior product management experience, ideally owning infrastructure-facing products (observability, SRE tooling, cloud compute, or networking platforms) • Demonstrated ability to define a product roadmap and deliver infrastructure capabilities • Working technical fluency in observability or compute and networking • Track record managing product development for infrastructure or platform capabilities with multiple engineering stakeholders and competing priorities • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills • Ability to prioritize investments based on reliability, security, and cost • Experience with observability platforms such as Sumo Logic, Wavefront, Sentry, or similar • Experience with compute/network tooling such as Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud-provider networking or cost-management tools • Familiarity with SRE practices, including SLOs, error budgets, incident management, and on-call process design • Familiarity with financial services or other regulated-industry engineering environments • Experience driving infrastructure adoption and self-service models across a large, distributed engineering organization • Experience partnering with globally distributed engineering teams across time zones • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future visa sponsorship • Must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on the first day of employment
