📋 Description

• Lead the legacy platform modernization assessment and provide overall product leadership across Requirements, Solutioning, and Development workstreams • Establish the strategic and modernized end-state vision for legacy capabilities and map each function to its future home within the target enterprise platform • Drive executive alignment with federal client business leadership, IT, and stakeholders • Facilitate decision-making and deliver executive presentations of options, trade-offs, and recommendations • Oversee current-state assessment of the legacy platform, including servicer portal, databases, reporting services, external servicer integrations, and manual operational processes • Guide capability-by-capability value stream reviews and requirements workshops across loan servicing capabilities • Ensure functional and non-functional requirements are documented and maintained in Confluence and Jira • Direct creation of a legacy function disposition analysis • Guide development of phased modernization implementation options with sequencing, scenarios, cost, schedule, and staffing estimates • Champion responsible use of AI in modernization, including AI Ops, development harnesses, reusable skills and agents, innovation pipeline, and targeted prototypes • Align recommendations with enterprise shared services, data records, industry servicing data standards, and enterprise data model • Account for workforce evolution and employee performance considerations • Ensure adherence to Technical Reference Model standards, DevSecOps best practices, configuration-first principles, and documentation templates • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver monthly work products and client-ready deliverables • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and scope changes; navigate client escalations and delivery challenges • Build teamwork, accountability, consensus, and commitment around modernization initiatives • Develop and maintain strategic client relationships with federal client leadership and business stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years of relevant experience • Associate's Degree and an additional 2 years of experience • High school diploma and an additional 4 years of experience • Experience leading legacy system modernization, migration, or decommissioning assessments and producing roadmaps and implementation options for executive decision-makers • Experience leading requirements elicitation, value stream analysis, and future-state visioning across multiple business capabilities • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including presenting recommendations to executive leadership • Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to shift focus between high-priority tasks as required • Leadership in the face of ambiguity • Ability to navigate challenges and consistently complete deliverables • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust clearance • Preferred: experience supporting federal loan servicing or benefits-delivery applications and enterprise platform migrations • Preferred: existing Public Trust clearance at a federal agency • Preferred: in-depth knowledge of the mortgage industry, particularly loan servicing, loss mitigation, default, foreclosure, and claims processes • Preferred: familiarity with MISMO data standards and servicer reporting • Preferred: experience implementing Salesforce and/or AWS solutions for the federal government • Preferred: experience applying AI-assisted tools and practices within FedRAMP-authorized environments • Preferred: familiarity with DevSecOps practices and federal client Technical Reference Model standards • Preferred: experience using JIRA and Confluence
