📋 Description

• Own the OpenRouter Connect roadmap end to end, including prioritization and requirements for partner integration and onboarding, provisioning APIs, per-customer and per-end-user controls and guardrails, usage visibility, and billing • Set strategy by prioritizing target partner segments, defining competitive positioning, and setting goals for partner and end-user activation, engagement, and retention • Work directly with design partners through prospect and integration calls, unblock engineers, and translate partner and end-customer needs into the roadmap • Collaborate with engineering and design to make scope and sequencing decisions and ship quickly, iteratively, with high quality and strong developer experience • Build reusable Connect abstractions rather than one-off integrations • Push missing management endpoints, analytics dimensions, and guardrail primitives into the core OpenRouter product • Partner with Partnerships and Finance on Connect’s business model and commercial terms

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of product management or founder experience building platform, API, or infrastructure products that other companies' engineers build on • Experience shipping partner-delivered, multi-tenant products • Experience with tenant, identity, and billing questions in B2B2B or B2B2Dev products • Zero-to-one track record taking a product from design partners to general availability • High agency and bias toward action • Strong written communication and ability to write clearly and often • Strong technical judgment • Ability to read API specifications and use SDKs • Experience reviewing observability and product metrics • Knowledge of customer-facing API surfaces, authentication models, partner integrations, usage metering, and tenant isolation • Nice to have: experience at a developer platform, LLM ops, or AI gateway company, or building embedded/OEM infrastructure offerings • Nice to have: familiarity with enterprise access, budget, and DLP controls • Nice to have: experience with delegated administration, end-user identity, and per-tenant policy • Nice to have: usage-based billing and reporting experience, including metering, invoicing, or revenue share • Nice to have: familiarity with the model and provider ecosystem or existing OpenRouter usage
