📋 Description

• Produce mortgage loans throughout the assigned market • Source mortgage business independently • Advise potential and existing mortgage customers • Maximize production through referrals from local builders, real estate agents, contractors, affinity partners, and past clients • Maintain an exceptional customer experience • Meet or exceed individual and/or team sales goals, including deposit and loan goals • Increase conforming loan applications through marketing and referrals • Introduce self-sourced customers to other lines of business within the bank • Develop business outside the retail branch network through real estate agents, homebuilders, relocation services, and cold calling • Recommend loan solutions according to lending guidelines and client requirements • Collect and analyze financial information for multifaceted and/or complex borrowers • Develop and prepare loan solutions and refer products and services • Review documentation for compliance and manage the customer pipeline efficiently • Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines, including Fair Lending • Ensure required compliance training is completed on time by direct reports • Follow S.A.F.E. Act procedures, including notifying Human Resources of changes in current status

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years mortgage sales experience required • Effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques • Strategic sales planning knowledge • Knowledge of residential mortgage instruments and their application • Knowledge of sales principles, processes, techniques, and tools • Ability to sell banking products and services • Knowledge of banking products and services to meet customer needs • Customer experience management strategies and techniques • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required • Must meet the requirements of the S.A.F.E. Act • Must comply with applicable state and Federal laws, regulations, bank policies, procedures, and Fair Lending requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred, but not required • Equivalent combination of education and/or relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
