• Lead and develop a team of approximately 15 AP/EHS leaders • Develop, deploy, and continuously improve regional Asset Protection and Environmental Health & Safety strategies • Partner with senior, Distribution Center, Supply Chain, Retail Operations, and cross-functional leaders • Advise senior leadership on risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and incident management • Oversee shrink reduction, inventory integrity, return fraud, cash handling, investigations, and abuse prevention • Analyze shrink, accident, and incident data to identify trends, root causes, and preventive actions • Audit Asset Protection programs for compliance and operational effectiveness • Develop and manage safety and environmental programs • Partner with Risk, Legal, Supply Chain, Transportation, and Claims teams to mitigate risks and reduce claims • Oversee internal and third-party safety, health, and environmental compliance audits • Serve as the primary AP/EHS contact for Operations, Regional and Area support staffs, Logistics, and Asset Protection partners • Provide immediate guidance during emergencies and manage long-term corrective strategies • Ensure consistent communication, documentation, and follow-up for critical incidents • Lead change initiatives and advise senior leaders on execution
• Expert knowledge of Asset Protection and Environmental Health & Safety strategy, investigations, and incident response in a multi-unit retail and logistics environment • Proven ability to lead leaders and deliver results across large, geographically dispersed teams • Strong conflict management and decision-making skills • Ability to operate independently in high-stress situations • Proficient project planning and execution skills • Ability to balance competing priorities • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data-driven reporting tools • Deep understanding of internal investigation methodologies in a retail environment • Experience auditing Asset Protection, safety, and environmental programs for regulatory and internal compliance • Cross-functional experience with operations, legal, risk management, claims, supply chain, and transportation • Experience managing and reducing long-term claims trends through risk mitigation initiatives • Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, DHS, and other applicable regulations
