📋 Description

• Support the U.S. Small Business Administration Unified Lending Platform (ULP) program • Conduct organizational studies and evaluate business operations and processes • Analyze workflows and assist with work simplification and measurement studies • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements • Document current-state and future-state processes • Identify operational gaps and develop process improvement recommendations • Develop process maps and workflow diagrams • Develop and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules • Create Standard Operating Procedures, operations manuals, user guides, training materials, and other program documentation • Support evaluation and implementation of ULP system and process changes • Collect and analyze data • Prepare reports, presentations, and management products for program decision-making • Track action items and requirements • Participate in meetings, working groups, requirements sessions, process reviews, and operational activities • Coordinate information between SBA business stakeholders, management, subject matter experts, software development, quality assurance, operations, and technical teams • Analyze operational issues and support program management and operations • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration/management or comparable experience • 1-year related work experience • Ability to work with customers, clients, and employees • Ability to respond to questions in meetings, group settings, and in writing • Ability to relay technical information in an understandable format to varied technical audiences • Ability to work with geographically distributed teams • Experience with business improvement initiatives • Experience supporting a federal government program or government contractor • Knowledge of requirements management and traceability • Experience supporting software development or information technology programs • Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process guides, or operations manuals • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies • Familiarity with Jira or similar requirements and issue-management tools • Familiarity with business process modeling or process mapping tools • Intensive analytical skills • Comprehension of networking/distributed computing environment concepts • Thorough understanding of data communications and data center technology • Strong attention to detail • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to communicate security policies, standards, regulatory compliance issues, and remediation recommendations in writing and verbally • Advanced problem-solving skills involving collection, interpretation, and analysis of data from diverse sources • Ability to maintain a secure, professional, distraction-free remote workspace • Ability to maintain reliable high-speed internet connectivity and dependable electrical power • Ability to remain available during established duty hours and monitor Slack, email, and virtual meeting systems • Compliance with company telework, information security, SBA security, privacy, data protection, Clear Desk/Clear Screen, VPN, contractual, and government security requirements • NACI clearance level requirement • Ability to perform essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods • Ability to participate in extended virtual meetings and training sessions • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, reach, bend, and move within the workspace • Ability to occasionally lift or move light office equipment or materials, generally up to approximately 20 pounds
