📋 Description

• Plan water quality evaluations investigating source water quality, treatment process efficiency, and distribution system water quality • Plan and conduct bench and pilot tests to evaluate water treatment • Design experiments and systems to investigate treatment effects on water quality and optimize full-scale design criteria • Perform engineering design calculations and desktop evaluations for water treatment processes and scenarios • Complete chemical dosing and storage calculations, size pumps, and select process monitoring equipment • Conduct engineering reviews of flood mitigation project applications • Review and verify flood damage reports, calculations, and engineering designs • Perform benefit-cost analyses • Provide permitting and compliance assistance for plant rerating, treatment modification, plant upgrades, and performance demonstrations • Prepare documents, draft regulatory agency responses, and work with utilities to identify deficiencies and meet compliance requirements • Complete technical writing and prepare presentation materials for employee technical groups, clients, and water industry conferences • Travel domestically up to 25%

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field of study • 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Environmental Engineer, Civil Engineer, or in a related occupation • Professional Engineering (PE) Licensure • Experience completing water, wastewater, and stormwater utility projects • Experience in water process planning, modeling, condition assessment, and design • Experience with regulatory experimental design • Experience with AutoCAD • Experience with GIS • Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic models • System and experimental design for pilot testing • Experience with RTW4 Modeling • Experience with BIOWIN • Experience with Dupont WAVE • Experience with FDEP Oculus • Experience with Power BI • Up to 25% domestic travel • Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the US
