📋 Description

• Provide evidence-based treatment for individuals with substance use disorders and mental health disorders • Conduct initial and follow-up telehealth evaluations • Deliver care for substance use and mental health conditions • Prescribe medications as appropriate and answer member questions • Complete documentation in the Healthie EHR • Collaborate with counselors, therapists, peer support specialists, case managers, and the broader care team • Attend occasional scheduled team meetings • Make clinical decisions in collaboration with members and at the provider’s discretion • Prescribe Suboxone for Opioid Use Disorder; do not prescribe other controlled substances

🎯 Requirements

• Must hold an active, unrestricted license in Illinois • Active and verifiable PMHNP license in the state(s) where you practice, and in your state of residence if it is not Illinois • Medicaid enrollment is a plus • At least 2 years of experience, ideally in addiction or mental health treatment; relevant previous experience may be considered for those with less than 2 years as a PMHNP • Experience prescribing Suboxone • Active DEA registration • Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure • Empathy for members facing behavioral health challenges • Comfort using technology, including EHRs and mobile apps • Quiet, private office with reliable internet connection for HIPAA-compliant telehealth visits
