📋 Description

• Work as a full-stack engineer contributing to backend, web, and mobile interfaces • Gain deep understanding of business, product, and engineering context • Own and deliver high-availability, low-latency systems used by Affirm customers • Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team • Lead engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems and support them throughout delivery • Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics during ideation and decision-making • Articulate technical constraints and evaluate risks and trade-offs • Identify and lead resolution of project, process, technology, and business issues • Create and monitor metrics, escalate issues, and support operational and on-call efforts • Establish or improve code review and design standards • Advocate for quality and ownership through writing and technical talks • Develop team talent through feedback, guidance, and leading by example

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing and architecting web applications using declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript • Experience defining technical plans for significant features or system components • Ability to write high-quality, understandable, and reusable code • Proficiency making significant changes in large codebases safely • Experience developing tools and practices to support safe codebase changes • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
