📋 Description

• Support customers with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance and repair of company and possible multi-vendor systems solutions • Install and optimize hardware, software, networking products and configurations at customer sites • Diagnose and resolve product performance problems • Perform maintenance and repairs • Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that may impact product performance • Proactively respond to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned business interruptions • Deliver fully integrated solutions including peripherals, communications, operating systems and application software • Train other field engineers and customers in the solutions • Serve the Northern California (Bay Area) territory

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or other university degree ideally within the science field; may consider applicants with an equivalent combination of training, education and direct experience • 4+ years of experience in a similar position and/or experience as an end-user of analytical equipment • Experience or expertise with Chromatography (LC, GC, and MS) • Agilent HW and SW experience is a plus • Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving in a complex customer-facing capacity • Experience with the Agilent solutions is desired but not essential • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Ability to travel to various locations on a daily basis and interact with a broad range of clientele • Willingness to travel up to 75% • Valid driver's license is required • Must meet Agilent approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements necessary to gain site access, which may include post-employment background checks, drug testing, vaccinations, fingerprinting, valid identification, and customer-specific substance abuse programs • Consent to participate in customer-requested screening is required
