📋 Description

• Own and drive Mass Spectrometry software and workflow solutions • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept and strategy through development, launch, and lifecycle optimization • Translate market trends, customer needs, and workflow requirements for LC- and GC-MS into product requirements and prioritized backlogs • Define and refine value propositions, feature sets, and release strategies • Coordinate across functions during product development and release phases • Support product enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance activities • Partner with commercial marketing on product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution • Align software products with broader workflow and hardware ecosystems • Conduct market and competitive research to identify opportunities and validate product direction • Act as a technical and workflow expert for products in internal and customer-facing discussions • Drive the evolution of Agilent’s Masshunter software ecosystem and next-generation workflow solutions supporting laboratories worldwide

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Analytical Sciences, Computer Science, or related field • Typically, 8+ years of relevant experience in product management, software, or scientific applications • Strong understanding of LC- and/or GC-MS workflows, particularly in mass spectrometry data analysis • Experience managing software products or software-heavy scientific workflows across the product lifecycle • Familiarity with Agile software development processes • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and translate customer needs into product requirements • Experience working in cross-functional global teams, including R&D and commercial organizations • Customer-centric mindset and ability to synthesize voice-of-customer and market intelligence into revenue opportunities and product strategy • Proven experience within Metabolomics, Proteomics, or Intact Peptide Mapping is a standout competency • Strategic thinking with strong execution focus • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across technical and commercial teams • Proven track record of “Leading amongst peers”
