📋 Description

• Direct day-to-day IT operations, including end-user support, procurement, and employee onboarding and offboarding • Direct security and cloud infrastructure across hybrid on-premises and Azure cloud environments • Oversee Microsoft 365 ecosystem administration and management • Oversee administration and configuration of hosted third-party SaaS business applications • Establish and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans, including backup, failover, and recovery procedures • Execute the CTO's technology roadmap and strategic priorities through actionable plans, timelines, and measurable outcomes • Lead ITSM/ITIL maturity and improve incident, problem, change, request, asset, and configuration management processes • Define service-level metrics and operational KPIs • Partner with the Director of Software Engineering on infrastructure needs and software development operations • Coordinate with Tech Talent & People Operations on IT staffing plans, hiring pipelines, career tracks, and role leveling • Partner with leadership and peer directors on infrastructure, security, and service priorities • Recruit, build, mentor, and manage multidisciplinary IT teams • Manage vendor and technology partner relationships, contracts, renewals, and performance • Contribute to IT budget planning and forecasting • Provide executive-level reporting on IT initiatives, roadmap progress, service performance, risks, and resource needs • Complete assigned tasks and deliverables on time and on budget • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary IT teams across security, cloud infrastructure, application management, and IT operations • Deep hands-on and leadership experience with the Microsoft ecosystem, including the full Microsoft 365 suite and Azure PaaS and IaaS environments • Working knowledge of compliance and security frameworks such as SOC 2, with experience operating IT environments under audit • Substantial ITSM/ITIL experience and a demonstrated track record of driving IT service management process maturity • Working knowledge of software development operations and Azure DevOps, SQL Server, and IIS • Demonstrated experience personally leading high-velocity technical hiring and building multidisciplinary teams at pace, including significant headcount growth within 12 months • Experience negotiating and managing vendor and technology partner contracts • Strong executive communication skills, including executive-level reporting and influencing senior leadership • Familiarity with SDLC and Agile delivery practices • Experience operating in a multi-tenant or multi-company environment • Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and optimize operational processes • Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technology and adapting to evolving requirements • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, operations, or technology leadership • 5+ years leading and growing multidisciplinary IT teams • Ability to travel up to 5%, including travel to any or all 50 US states
