📋 Description

• Administer the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the QA section • Plan, budget, and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing systems • Analyze user requirements, design documents, and other documentation to develop detailed test cases • Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases • Report and document issues, executed test cases, test results, and testing summaries • Perform manual testing and data validation • Execute SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data • Collaborate with the LASO development team and customers to understand functionality under test, define test case automation, and communicate findings • Execute performance and accessibility testing • Support implementation of applications and projects within the LASO group

🎯 Requirements

• 7 years of experience testing complex web applications • 6 years of automation experience with Java and TestNG • 5 years of expertise in SQL • 4 years of experience with Playwright • 4 years of experience with workflow-driven automation • 4 years of experience with JMeter/WAPT Pro or another load-testing tool • 3 years of experience with GitHub Copilot skills • Preferred: 2 years of previous experience with Zephyr Scale • Preferred: 2 years of previous experience with Jira • Preferred: 2 years of experience with Texas state government agencies or Texas school systems • Preferred: 2 years of experience with Grants or In-Kind programs • May require evenings, weekends, or holidays as pre-approved by the agency • Texas-based candidates are preferred • Monday–Friday availability, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, excluding State holidays
